As of today the Canoris web service will cease its operations. Due to strategical changes we are unable to support the web service in its current form. However, a large part of the Canoris technology and infrastructure will be integrated into the Freesound project. As such, the effort put in by the Canoris team over the last year will now serve the Freesound website and its community.
The Freesound project will soon release a completely renewed website which will include the Canoris technology. A beta version is already available.

From 10.00 to 12.00 this morning the Canoris team has been busy upgrading the production servers to bring you some new features and a more stable service. We've bumped the version number to 0.10!
On Thursday February 3rd from 10 to 11 am CET the Canoris API will be unavailable while we deploy some new features. More information on the new stuff on Thursday!
Jorge and Imanol won the SoundCloud prize at the BCN Music Hack Day and thus got the chance to go to the Boston Hack Day, which was concluded just yesterday. We already posted some of the hacks that were deployed to Twitter, but here's a list of the Canoris and Freesound hacks made in Barcelona and Boston that are online now.
Last weekend, the 2nd and 3rd of Octobre, the Music Technology Group and BMAT organized the first Barcelona Music Hack Day after many other successful hack days around the world. The hack day being the perfect opportunity to launch Canoris and get some traction we worked hard the last couple of weeks getting our API ready for public use.
Canoris was set up as an integration platform for a diverse set of technologies. It already brings together products from several companies with the idea that the whole is much more than the sum of the parts.
